EVENT
This was one of the most important automotive events of the year. Thousands of Porsche enthusiasts gathered at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa to celebrate the history and present of their beloved brand. We traveled there just for you, to see what you might expect during the June edition of the event in Poland.
Air|Water unites fans of air- and water-cooled Porsche engines. More than 1,000 models awaited participants—from classic 356s and Porsche tractors from the 1950s, through iconic 911s in various versions, to the latest modified models. Among the most remarkable exhibits were the legendary McLaren MP4/2B powered by a TAG Turbo Porsche engine, the 911 SC RS in Rothmans livery, and the Schuppan 962 CR—a rarely seen street-legal version of a Group C race car. And these were just a few of the gems on display.
all-inclusive Porsche experience
Organizers ensured the exhibition appealed to all visitors. The event area was divided into six themed zones, such as Mid-Engine Legends, 944 Transaxle Tribute, and the spectacular Off-Road Arena showcasing off-road Porsche models. In the Carrera Carnival zone, participants could feel the thrill of driving the latest Porsche models, including the facelifted 911 Carrera 992.2.
In the halls and outdoor spaces, visitors found incredible displays. One hall featured four 911 GT3 RS 4.0s accompanied by two 911 GT3 R Rennsport models and many other limited-edition 911s. Another gathered historic race cars, headlined by Bob Akin’s Porsche 935, and nearby, Rod Emory’s collection of 356s formed an impressive display. A bit further on, BBi presented five legendary models in silver: the 918 Spyder, Carrera GT, 911 GT2 (993), 911 GT3 RS 991.2, and 911 GT2 RS 991.2. The entire venue was further enriched with hundreds of privately owned cars selected with great care.
Renowned brands like Singer, Gunterwerks, and GS Manufaktur were also present. But the local amphitheater made the biggest impression, with beautifully color-matched Porsche sports models—from green 356s and pink 964 Carrera RS models to a spectacular aubergine-colored 911 ST.
FOR EVERYBODY
On the main square, participants’ cars surrounded legendary vehicles such as the 935 and the Lola Porsche B2K/10 race prototype. A separate hall hosted over 45 exhibitors offering everything related to Porsche culture: spare parts, exclusive accessories, collectible apparel, art, and books. A major highlight was the chance to purchase and get a signed copy of the latest Luft Book v3 edition by Patrick Long and Jeff Zwart—the creators of the cult Luftgekühlt event and organizers of Air|Water. The Polish company Car Bone Liveries also had a booth there. Another Polish highlight at Air|Water 2025 was a car displayed by the U.S. branch of the Polish brand Indecent. The modified 911 with a full body kit in pink earned the public’s choice award.
Despite occasional heavy rain, the atmosphere throughout the day was exceptional. More than 11,000 attendees formed an amazing international community. It was also encouraging to see that, according to organizers, over half of the participants didn’t yet own a Porsche—Air|Water thus attracts not only owners but also automotive enthusiasts.
SEE YOU IN WARSAW!
To close the day, guests could attend the Harmony After Air|Water after-party at Finish Line Auto Club in Costa Mesa. The charity event, organized to support the Overcrest Foundation, was a great chance to continue celebrating in a more relaxed setting—with live music, food, and of course, more extraordinary cars.
Words alone can’t fully capture what Air|Water is all about. That’s why we hope our social media coverage and the photo gallery below will give you the full picture of what this event truly represents. It’s definitely worth getting to know it better—because on June 14, the first European edition will take place in Warsaw, at the historic Warszawa Główna railway station and Nocny Market. We warmly invite you to join this event. See you in Warsaw.
